Lots of talk about that, but we've installed them on jack stands with no issues. Also on my son's Dart and my Barracuda with no suspension at all in the car (both convertibles) and no issues.
Yep. I agree. Biggest thing is make sure you have the car sitting level on the stands. Sometimes concrete floors are perfectly level so you may need to put a shim or two between the jack stand (or lifting point on a 2 post) and the car.
