Hey, Merry Christmas everyone! My name is Greg, I live in Georgia but I was born in Hamtramck Mi. and spent the first 40 some years of my life in and around the Detroit area.I moved south to get out of the rust belt! I have been a Mopar fanatic for over 50 years! since My dad bought a '56 Dodge Royal Lancer with a Super Red Ram Special Hemi in it back in 1960. I have owned several dozen Mopars over the decades. My latest acquisition is a 1973 Duster 318 automatic, Petty Blue. As I was surfing the internet, I stumbled on you guys! so Here I am

Welcome aboard and Merry Christmas, Greg. I am a touch NE of Macon, in Jones County. Good to have another in Georgia.

Welcome to FABO. You'll find it to the the best Mopar site around.

I moved from Marietta to Virginia Beach 3 years ago to get closer to my aging mother...since she passed, we're ready to move back!! Missing Georgia!

Welcome :D

I also have a 73 Duster that was originally blue but someone at some time before me painted it orange with black and also a automatic.

You have any pics?

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I actually traded a '59 Plymouth Suburban 2 dr wagon for the Duster. A friend of mine wanted it really bad. It needs a total restoration and at my age (62) I just wasn't up to the task as I was at a younger age. First he wanted to trade me some 4 dr Marquis for it. I just laughed at him! I said It's a Mopar, a cool one at that! If you want to trade, It has to be a 2 dr Mopar, a cool one, and not a 5 year project either, I want something I can drive while I'm still capable. So he popped up with this Duster that he wheeled and dealed for. Has a little rust at the bottom rear of the quarters but otherwise solid! Trunk is even in good shape. I said Congratulations, you are now the proud owner of Christine's soccer mom baby sister! Now we still need to get both cars to his shop to get to work on them. No Pix yet but will be coming. Other Vehicles I have at the moment...
1984 Jeep CJ-10
1976 Harley Sportster XLH 1000
1971 Harley Golf Cart
1997 Dodge Caravan ( my everyday beater vehicle)

clhyer, LOL, I live about 3 blocks from the square. I just moved here from Conyers Ga. I love Carrollton! This town is so cool! I live in a 102 year old Craftsman style bungalow that is in really good shape but the garage is actually a carriage house made for horse and buggy, LOL It's only 15' deep. I need to put a extension on the back so I can actually work on a car in it. There is a junkyard on the North side of town, McKensie's with a whole section of '60s and '70s Mopars, many worth restoring! His prices are a bit steep on the complete cars though.

pauly, I Love Michigan's west coast! I miss riding the Dodge Dune Schooner in Saugatuck, Got a photo somewhere around here of my old Dodge Travco Motorhome with Sleeping bear sand dunes in the background
