yea, the factory plated the front sub frame, in the down turn (top of pic)
then to save on material, depended on the floor, spot weld to keep from flexing.
I had a Demon(4 speed)
every time you shifted the floor would make a popping sound
pulled the carpet and most of the spot welds were torn loose..
anyway, with the connector and plate attached to the trans sub frame,
floor removed,
i could make the sub frame move
so, added a( 2" x 3") x 2" metal to go between the connector,cross member, and front sub frame.
to tie it all together.. :burnout:
then plated the rest, left clearance for the emergency brake cable, in case we ever have to remove/replace the cable.

adding a roll bar> street STOCK look
at first glance... lol
