Fan clutch

What size fan came on the 64 barracuda with a/c? The clutch on my fan seems to be seized up. Need a replacement for it. Just want to make sure I get the right one.
 
My 67 Formula S 273 did not have a clutch fan, but a 7 blade non-clutch fan.
 
I have the 273 which is now a 318. Do you have a picture of the fan you have?
 
The 64 Cuda would not have come with a clutch on the fan! The fan could be a 6 or 7 blade fan, 17" in diameter!
 
Mine had a clutch on it and fit in the stock metal fan shroud. I am 3rd owner of this car. the original owner put the 318 in it. Guess the ole 273 gave up the ghost. it still has the original 273 heads.
 
Here's a pic of a 17 inch clutch fan/shroud off an A/C '65 273. The non A/C fan that was available is the same with a different center for a spacer.

Sorry, I don't. The car's been apart for years and I don't know where all of my parts are scattered right now.... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
 
1965 was the first year for factory AC which included the following cooling system upgrades.

The condenser is in front of the radiator. Because of the added load the condenser imposes on the engine cooling system, Darts equipped with air conditioning have special cooling system components. Included are a larger radiator, a higher capacity fan with box-type shroud and a 16 psi (instead of 14 psi) radiator pressure cap.

Models with V-8 engine, unless they are equipped with a trailer-towing package, have a viscous drive fan with thermal control instead of the solid drive fan.

I assume you could get dealer AC in 64, but not sure if that included a fan clutch. I'm guessing no.

I got a fan clutch for my 65 AC car from RockAuto.com. You can use their website to lookup the correct part number.
 
I'm using a clutch on my 7 bladed fan and correct 2 piece metal shroud! I'll snap a pic and post it here! Geof
 
Thanks, Yeah I have dealer installed A/C when it was bought new.
