Hey Bruce just a suggestion. If this is for a street car make sure you get a valve body with low band apply. Some MVB's do not have it and IMO it's important on a street car. When the rear band is applied it takes the load off the sprague. Be ready for teeth jarring shifts, LOL

Is there a way to tell? Is it something that can be added if not?

I already have the body, it's just going on the shelf for now until I get the rest of the stuff for the rebuild. That oughta be interesting, since I've never had the pleasure, lol.

I'm about as familiar with the internal workings of a trans as I am about flying the space shuttle. :D
