I am proud to own a A body again!!
Name is Tim, my first car was a 72 Duster that I drove and hot rodded all through high school and a lil time after until I let a friend drive it and he wrecked it (lesson learned!)
I have been racing and hot rodding Chevrolets since then as my brother had an abundance of extra parts but my love of Mopars never died, they are just so expensive now days it was tough for me to find one.
Well I wheeled and dealed my way into a barracuda and am very excited to bring it back to life. It needs extensive work but its for the wife as a daily driver so she is on board with spending time and $$$ on it.:D
from what I read on tag its a original slant 6, nothing special except if I am correct it had the stripe around the rear factory? (back glass is gone, blazer top keeping water out)
I will be needing some parts for sure, I have already scored a good 318 and car has already been converted to a 904 auto. I will make a new post with a list of parts needed.
ANY and ALL help, opinions and ideas appreciated, plans are for 318 with FAST fuel injection, vintage air A/C, keeping 904, ford 8.8 rear, mini tubs, and converting it to the large bolt pattern disc brakes up front.
Here are some pictures, this is where I found it and condition.

and a lil vid of my[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l24lf_A-Yx8"] street truck[/ame] before I went crazy with it (cage/fab9 rear 505cid 13.5comp ect ect) :) thanks for letting me share, cant wait to get started on the fish!

Welcome - what ever information you need is right here. I have a 68 Barracuda that I've been working on for a year and a half. Everything is new except for the 904 auto. If I can help, give me a shout. Jim

Welcome, great year barracuda you have there to bring back
to life. Doing a 68 myself that started out a little worse for wear than where your starting.
Treat all your exterior trim like it is gold. Looks like you got lucky and it is all their.

Welcome, cool car. That stripe around the back wasn't factory on the Barracuda. Are you sure the 904 is for an LA? It could just be left over from the /6. Any interior shots?

Thanks all for the welcome!!
70DartMike, Shows what I know, I thought the slant 6 trans was the same as small block. It has the slant 6 in it, and a clutch pedal, and a 904 trans bolted into the the car.
I did my best with decoding the fender tag.. thought I read something about the trim package had a tail stripe.. but I just tryed my best, have no clue about that stuff. Just googled it.

No worries, everyone learns somewhere. Post up a pic of your fender tag, someone can decode it for you.

Welcome from Conroe, TX. All of the Texas members need to show up at the Conroe swap meet the 13-15 of February. We seem to be getting more Mopar sellers and cars in the car corral over the last two years. Its nice to see a good variety of Mopar stuff among all the other stuff out there.
