I just found out last night that a family friend and A body enthusiast Rick Hauver had past away. This man was a good friend of my fathers and was a very wise man in the mechanics of Mopars. He was a very avid drag racer running a 69 dart with an Indy motor. He was a regular back in the day at 75/80 dragway in Urbana MD when I was young and my dad was the announcer. Winning many rounds and many Top Dogs, he was always a contender. When I was putting my dart together he was there for the motor break in and with his ear he told me "Mark you have to much timing" and when I shut my dart off it puked water out of my radiator with out a cap all over him. With no fuss we continued on. When he retired from the working force he got his pilots license and be came a very good pilot. I will miss you my friend. Rest in peace Tricky Ricky.
