I've been researching intake possibilities for a conversion I'm thinking about too. I done some research and was told that it's possible to weld the holes in an LA style intake and re-drill them to match the Magnum head intake mounting holes. Again this is things I've read and talked to a few shops about. I was told that the only difference in manifolds is pretty much the hole angles. I don't know if that helps, but it's a thought.
