Some of you might remember this song from the Movie "Heart Like a Wheel" about Shirley Muldowney's life. It was played during the scene when she had her first street race.
Some of the older guys might remember it from the radio circa: 1959.
First heard it in American Graffitti "s TV debut ( network TV , '77-78...?) Track 3 on the double CD album. Such a beautifully simple recording, one of my absolute favorite songs. ( simplicity , at it)'s best.
yep, great song, great movie.........really gave u a taste of what the 50's and early 60's were all about...........music and hotrods........love that movie.
