Put a R5P7 motor in an A body and you will have a 9 second car with almost no tuning....get it tuned and you could drop into the high 8's.
I guy I met at Monster Mopar in Indy a few years ago that has a blue Barracuda with a low compression 340, production iron heads...it ran high 9's (he is on Moparts, not sure if he is on here)...that was a trick piece.
