I would like to put a 68 S/S hood on my 67 dart GT. Who sells the nicest hood? I prefer bolt-on. Thanks.
Bump
WHY do you want that backward parachute on your car

I would guess because he likes the looks maybe:burnout:
Exactly. Some of us think they look pretty bad ***. Mine is just a bolt on scoop on a steel hood, but same effect. It's just sittin on there for now, but you get the idea.
If I may be so bold...what did Kramer charge for their SS hood? Approximation is fine. Thanks.
could you tell me what all you did to the dart minus cage and where you got it all?? thanks

Just another thing to think about . If you have a pin on hood when you remove it , where do you put it ? Sitting it on edge will mess up the hood corners , if you lay it on the ground some one might step on it ,place it on top of the car but the wind might blow it off . My hood was on a race car , I glued pieces of foam on 4 locations under the hood so it could be set on top of the car but still had to watch the wind and the foam got dirty . Just a thought if your car is not going to be a full time race car the bolt on hood would be a better option , take the stock hood springs off and use hood pins on the front edge of the hood , when you open the hood make up a couple of prop rods to go over the hood pins and thru the pin holes in the hood again food for thought been both directions with hoods and deck lids .It does thank you. I will want a pin on hood like the original LO23 darts SS cars came with from the factory. I suspect you get what you pay for and most likely will go with Kramer even though it is more $$$. The only problem maybe getting Kramer to have one to ship. Thanks again.
It depends on how you pin it on. If you use Dzus fasteners then there isn't a good way to put it anywhere except for the glue on foam. If you use hood pins then you can make rods like an A12 car and just raise the hood with 4 rods. When the new Mr. Norms Hemi Darts were made that is how we did it.
