alignment/steering question

If the steering is not returning properly, that is due to not having enough caster. That would also contribute greatly to wandering. If it's not "wore out" and it's not "dangerous" then I don't understand what is stopping him from doing an alignment.

out here in the sticks, but there are 2 other shops I can have look at it. not sure if he wanted the $$ for front end rebuild job or what? i'm sure it could use new stuff. perhaps he figured the "correct" way is to rebuild it all and then align..

this car like is said is down a ways on my list of things to spend $$ on! would it be worthwhile for me to buy offset upper a arm bushings? and then get all aligned??? wondering....
