Its been a long, long time but finally The Dart is coming together. All thats left really is seat belts, a bit of wiring, touch up paint and some minor details. The headliner was a disaster from the start. I could only use 4 of the 5 bows needed but turned out Ok in my opinion considering. It looks 10 times better when its warm not cold.........but hell its my car.Its only a headliner and always can be changed down the road. Plain jain interior for now always room for upgardes..Anyway i did it all my self even the door panels and to me its at least a 5 maybe 6 out of 10. Pics inclosed. Thanks Fabo for the oportunitty to be here.Good lord i have to really clean up my car..........:violent1:

And just think.....you were tryin to sell the POS not too terribly long ago.

Nice work Edd.

Thanks everyone. Sure I know its not A 1 but I did it. As they say practice makes perfect and considering the headliner had flaws it turned out not to bad. Carpet, seat covers, headliner, headliner insulation ,paint & material for doors and package tray $375 doing it my self Priceless.

You nailed it right there! You did it and its priceless. Gives you a sense of pride.. I did pretty much everything in my car myself as well and it by no means is perfect, but I can say I did it.

Look Good Edd. Be proud of what have done.

Hey,,, good to see somebody else .... just jumping on and gettin'er done...
A lot of these guys encouraged me with some encouraging words... on my restore handiwork.

Looks like a good ride you working on too!

Edd, what did you make your door panels out of?

I used the old backing boards and pulled off the old material. Some had to be scraped off. Went to a local fabric shop and got some black vinyl with a small grain type design. Its good stuff, used for seats as in motorcycles,ATV ,snowmobiles ect. UV protection, wears well and has a nice stretch to it. I got enought to do the doors and side panels as well as the package tray guessing cost was $ 90 say $100 including some staples and spray adhesive.

Thanks Rob, Im glad it worked out that I got the chance to keep it. BTW the carb.........................Works most AWSOME!!!!! Thanks again:prayer:

I am glad it worked out good. The car is really comin along.
