Hi folks ! Turned over a new leaf on New Year's Day of 2015... Picked up what I think is a pretty good 'yard' find in a '67 Barracuda. This'll be a long term project. Little bits at a time here and there with the end in mind being a pretty original looking restomod with some modern comforts and conveniences. Just gotta figure out what to start on first!

I sell outdoor lights for the local utility and was on a customer call to a small church. The guy I spoke with was a motor head as well (still had a picture of his first car in his wallet.. '70 Chevelle SS). I told him I was a bout half looking for a project car to tinker with. He asked what it was I was wanting... I said, " '67 - '69 Barracuda." His eyes got real big and he said, "I know where there's one sitting! Been there for years!"

Long story short... I went to check it out and caught up with the guy that owned it and he was willing to sell. Wah-Lah! Georgia has a new 'Cuda owner !

Welcome to the site! Great story!

Looking forward to seeing some pictures!!

Thanks for the welcome. Did a little time in the Air Force myself. 823rd Red Horse '85 - '89. I'll have to figure out the best way to post progress. It'll be a slow go.
