not really it worked fine for me mine was a 3.9 tho . so i got 25 mpg when i didnt have my foot in it . needed to go shopping in the rain put the camper shell on . kiddo fit just fine . Was really happy with it never let me down . sold it when the trans started slipping . i would have anuther one in a hart beat if i found a good one
