I figured the B-Body would be too big.
Looking at it, it looks like a 8 1/4 rear end. It's out of a police car with 11" drums apparently. I'm looking at dimensions and it says that 66 A-Body rear ends were 57 1/8" drum to drum. The diplomat is 60" flat drum to drum according to the Craigslist seller. That results in a width increase of 1 7/16" increase on both ends, right?
So, relocate the spring perches, and then look for a drive shaft?
