It still doesnt make sense to me that the 340-S emblem was put on a "non" formula-s car. Why the "S" in the emblem if its not a "Formula S"?? Maybe Im just trying to justify how long it took me to find a pair of really nice 340-S emblems??? LOL
Just found this thread. The mystery is finally solved for me why my 383-s only had the barracuda script on the original fender and the script and the fish on the one that had been replaced. I have two original never installed 383-s emblems I found twenty years ago at the nationals that I never put on, I guess now I never will. Kind of sucks I think the emblems are wicked looking. So my broadcast sheet should say v6 for the stripe. Is that the one that says the engine size or is it just the plain fat stripe with no engine call out.
