Stock ('73 type) Versus Aftermarket Front Brakes on 1,000HP'71 ProStreet Dodge Demon

Members:

I am at a crossroad on whether it's worth upgrading to aftermarket calipers and rotors on my 1971 Pro-street Demon that already has stock-style 73 brakes. The stock master cylinder needs to go and I cannot bleed the system on the driver's side due to the bleed nipple being broken off.

I ask because the narrow 4-inch (tread-width) runner-type tires can only provide so much stopping power in terms of rubber to the road. I have 11-inch drums on massive 15.5-inch tread width M/T Sportsman'sin the rear.

Other than reduced weight and better clamping, will say Wilwood's improve stopping distance? The cost difference is massive between stock-type and Wilwoods.

Thanks for your feedback and experience.
