Here is the dana that will be replacing the 8.75 , we shortened the housing to fit the strange 35 spline axles that came out of the 8.75 and used Caltrac spring perches here are some pix of the housing / spool / 3.54 gears / strange alum. main caps , the axles are going to be drilled for the 5/8's studs and the cover is a strange alum.

Nice looking setup. Are you using a fuel cell? Just asking because with mine I found out that rear cover won't fit with a stock tank.

Interesting, I also moved the rear back an inch. Sounds like there could be some interference.

Did you do the machine work for the main caps?

I am going to sell the SS springs and the 8.75 housing with the pumpkin I will be posting it soon .

I am using the alum fuel cell that came with the car.

I moved mine back 1'' when we moved the spring inboard to get more clearance for the taller tire's and we had no problems but you might have clearance problems with a stock tank

No Graham Race Cars is doing the rearend he does really good work , I can take one apart lol but not together and it work lol I have no intrest in doing them , if you need to know anything let me know and I will ask and get you an answer.

I moved my rear back the typical 1.5" and that cover won't clear the strap or the tank.

I modded the tank and ground a touch off one of the cover ribs. Problem solved....

My fuel cell is in the trunk so I have tons of room .

Here are some pix of the rear all done and ready to go in I will put it in next week.

Make sure your wheels will accept 5/8" studs before making that modification.

My wheels will not accept 5/8" studs.

One thing I am curious about, since you used axles for a 8 3/4, is this rearend now centered in the car instead of being offset? I think the dana is centered, that's why the factory axles are a different length on car danas.......
