Now it`s DUB...

Sorry not a fan. I have 17's and that to me is as large as I like on these cars but hey if you like it, good deal. Nice thing is you can always change the wheels back and forth.

Sorry, I'm not a fan. (Hey, for the sake of this guy, how about some of you guys in favor chime in?)

Unfortunately when I saw the hood scoop I immediately saw this:

i would like it if the fronts didnt look like there sticking out past the fenders and it was lowered or maybe theres no engine in there.

get on level ground crank the t-bars down to were the fenders just cover the tires and take another pic

My Opinion - Good idea, poor execution. It is only my opinion, but if you were to run 20's in the rear, I would stagger the front to a 17 or 18 that's narrow enough to tuck the tires inside the fender. that would hook you up with the pro-touring looking.

That's a real good point! The 20's on the back fill up the fenderwell nicely, especially since the Duster's have a more than ample space back there. The front wheels are what I don't particularly care for. It would look much better with 17's or 18's.... to me.

Lose the hood protrusion! If you must have a big scoop, find a Hemi style scoop. How the hell do you turn right with that thing?

After all of that.....It's your car, style it however you want. It looks like a young guy's car to me. If that's true, I'm just glad you are in the hobby!

Most of it I can live with, but the front is too high. I picture it with a straight axle. Tell ya what what, pull the the front wheels off the ground and dust a couple of big blocks with it. That would redeem the high front end.

What does DUB mean?

It's a slang term. It means a few things, but DUB generally means "20"

And it also stands for anything above 20" as well. If you want to get the term right, you'd say something along the lines of "car fo sale. 1996 Lincoln Town Car. Runs great - Only problem is blown head gasket. Sitting on chrome dubs." $6000 OBO.

But it's not like spanish where you add numbers to the end of 20, so you don't say "dub fours" because that's just a form you fill out for taxes, you say "Twunny foes"

X2.... your stance is not even close to looking cool.

I really like the back tires. Personally, I'd look for some 18s for the front and drop it a little. Seems overpowering up front.

A local here has 17's on front and 18's out back and it has a slight rake to the front. Looks very nice (Torq-Thrust style).

how do we like the final result? Front end is too high, front wheels stick out too far in relation to the rears, so not proportional. But if DUB is what you were after, maybe ask this on an import forum.

only if you have da thumpin stereo to go with it. Looks like you do not need spacers on the front.

Hi guys thanks for all your opinions I really appreciated it!!
I`ll try to answer most of the comments in one shot.

Yes, I`m a young man with new ideas and ready to definitely charting new territory....in my particular opinion is possible customize a car with out spend a lot of money (depends what you want of course). In my case I don`t want a car show and yes a car that makes me happy when I look it inside my garage or when I drive it.

Ferstival my plan was put the dual snorkel scoop but it cost over #300.00...second option was the cowl induction but I didn`t that because I don`t want someone calls my car "chevy duster"...this way I decided to put the pro stock scoop...it was free and for me looks pretty nice.

I respect everyone that enjoys old school style (I love it too) but I preferred to do something a little bit unusual for this reason 20 inch rims ...I like the mix about modern muscle and classic in the same time.... I`ll drop the car down a little bit in future, I`m sure the car will looks better.

Answer the member "1970 Duster": I don`t have too much experience with classic cars, I`m still learning those tricks...the easy way for me put the 20 inch rims was with the wheels spacers adapters....it fits perfect !

I decided to combine everything black and orange... another way to makes the car looks great with out spend a lot of money... a pair of chrome bumper are over $900 bucks.. I spent less than $25 with automotive spray paint ans I repainted the bumpers by myself....in general (black hood, black bumpers, black rims and the black stripes on the car looks great for me).

Answer the member "Brad4406": I did a little work at the front lip on the front fender"...it was something around 2 inches.

Answer the member "pauly v.100": I drive the car..the only difference it`s a little bit uncomfortable like was with the original rims because now it has tires with low profile.

The angle of the pictures are weird, the front rims are not out of the front fenders.

Thanks for the comments guys I enjoyed it !!!
