this is after. Here, 3 years later, it is going to American Street Dreams to get new inner fenders, floor and paint.

This is inside after American Street Dream work and delivery of car.

What you can't see is:
PST Polygraphite® Performance Standard Front End Kit
New brake drums, shoes, and slave cylinders
Feel Firm sway bar
Fine Lines gas and brake lines
rebuilt steering box

Can't put a price on happiness, but I have the receipts.

I live in Bloomington, IL

Got the grill in.
Took the grills apart, took out some dents, repainted and pop riveted back together. Got them shinier using a couple of compounds whose name I don't recall. pulling stuff off the engine. Going to replace water pump, gas pump, and exhaust manifold. My old exhaust came off in multiple pieces. In the process of replacing widow fuzzies and all the rubber seals. Irritated that I have to pull window assembly to replace wind wing rubber. But it will give me the opportunity to clean and lube everything. Every day is an adventure.

got the bumpers on. Now I am working on driver door. new fuzzies and new gasket for wind wing. That was a 4 hour job. took 2 of us 3 tries. who knew there are 2 little sliders at the front bottom corner of the window. mirror is on and outside chrome. now for inside of door. It is starting like a car.

Been having fun. Here are some photos. Should be starting this up this year. Down to about 15 things which includes fluids that I just spent $70 buying. It is interesting that fluid amounts are in units you can't buy, like 6.5 pints of transmission fluid. And thanks to the forum I learned the modern equivalent of the 1967 description.

All the trim is original. Reverse lights are so expensive I had my son muggy weld the cracks and pits and then I chrome painted them. I had multiples so I picked the best metal, glass, and sockets.
I crackle painted the valve cover and air cleaner lid black crackle. I could not stand the gold anodized air cleaner. Unifies the engine compartment look. Can't see it very well but I am playing cast aluminum paint and black paint against Chrysler red paint.

It looked so great when I put on the tires and lowered the car to pavement. With no tension on torsion bars the car sat on the rubber bumpers. Top of fender was 24 inches from ground, Looked GREAT!. so sad to have to clank it up. Next is oil, transmission fluid, Direct Connection electronic ignition, and oil filter.

I will repaint rims. Probably argent. Thinking about a contrasting color pin stripe. and hub caps.

Omar

Looking real good. Seems you will be ready to take that baby for a spring drive.
Engine is nicely done.

fall of 2019 I finally got it started and got plates and insurance from Hagerty. Then 3 months to get alignment, balance, and transmission redone. actually drove down to Sam's Club this morning for 5 gallons of gas. Runs good. Now I am fussing with speed o meter. Cable got ruined by melting on exhaust. Looks like new cable needs lube. As I drive it, more little things show up to fiddle with. I kept a list of what I did to car, I am up to 80+ things. keeps me out of the taverns. I put on a TTI exhaust and Dynomax muffler. Great fit and sound.
