My Dad had a saying. "Never be afraid to buy the best, you won't be disappointed!"

No trying to talk myself into one of those I know better than to things.

Ok tekslk,
Time for "Devil's Advocate"...
50 years ago anything Japanese was garbage, or so most thought. Within 10 years Japanese "garbage" was pretty damn good, enough so to pretty much destroy other countries economies. Today anything from there is generally considered "top shelf" in terms of quality.
I seem to remember, oh maybe 30-35 years ago, the same with Taiwan. By the mid 90's pretty much anything from there was of very good quality.
We are coming to that point with Chinese products (not that I want to be a guinea pig).
I see more and more all the time. Their stuff is getting better all the time. The biggest piss about it is their lack of real R&D. It's all just reverse engineering. Take a good product, and copy it (right down to it's shortcomings).
I'd love to say "just say NO" to Chinese products, I think we all would, but I'm pretty sure we ALL have quite a few (whether we want to acknowledge it or not). Otherwise WallyWorld wouldn't be our biggest retailer...
Of course, everyone one here can poke fun at you in hopes of dissuading you from the purchase of clone rockers, but as you said, the price IS tempting.
(OF course, all here will expect a full report. You know, .650" lift, 230# on the seat, 600# over the nose, 8000+ RPM every time you drive it, and last 100,000 miles).

Ran Chinese rockers on my 408/360. Was more hassle, than they were worth.(Cat aluminum rockers) Never again. spend your money, make your choices.

These being steel instead of aluminum will the adjustment stay better with less fuss?

Your link shows small block chevy! You're messing with us right :toothy1:

If you already know better, then why are you considering them???

You really know deep down that you shouldn't buy them. Why do you want us to tell you to?

Don't....

Do they have bearings or bushings? Do you have to tap the heads?

I had a deal with china rockers, and they were real bad, I had the PRW aluminum roller rocker arms. I dont know if I got a particularily bad set, but the tips wouldnt center on the valve, and they woudnt sit level on the valve. They also wore little marks into the valve stem after only 3000 miles! They had no way to oil the roller!!! I looked and there wasnt an oil hole in the rocker. This was with a small hydraulic flat tappet too.

I spent the extra cash on a set of comp ultra pro magnum rockers, and they are miles better than the PRW ones. It always seems to be cheaper to spend more money on good stuff than it is to fix a problem that cheap parts caused.

Harland Sharpe, comp, T&D, Jesel you can't go wrong.Cut back on the seat covers. Not the rockers

Since Chinese products are usually toxic and deadly to most mammals maybe it will help the combustion of your engine. It might have hidden horse power

I don't know why the chevy ones pulled up I was looking at the ones aar showed.

They will fit, here are some pics. I used 7/16ths studs, and it looks like it will work fine. The engine will be fired up this spring. It's too damn cold to play with it now.

All true.

Everyone wants freedom, but nobody wants to die to preserve it.
Everybody wants cheap parts but nobody wants an engine to die because of them.
You want to play it safe? Buy the time proven quality part.
You want to risk death... try all the others.
It's your choice, welcome to capitalism.

I sort of have a rule of thumb when it comes to cheap Chinese made parts. Avoid buying cheap parts that move or rotate under load as part of their function.

gotta agree with dad..

its always cheaper to do the job right the first time instead of having to do it twice.

It's like watching a fat chick ride a bike, it's never a pretty sight when things go wrong. Just sayin.

Well....Have had these in the box for several years....it is now put up or shut up time for them...engine wont run until the end of the month...

as a side note...the bolts supplied with the rockers bottom out in eddy heads...simple fix...shorter bolt or add another washer would do it...I used their bolts with another set of billet hold downs...
