tubular lower control arms for coilovers

-
Lol, thanks guys! Still have a long ways to go before these things are usable though, right now it's just tubing and pretty welds....

Nothing really new to tell but i did get the k frame back in the car today and got one side mocked up, operates really smooth with out any binding, video link below.

I got these from Prothane, they are a universal pivot bushing. These have the largest shaft diameter available which is why i went with them. I think it's nice to have a component that has some give to it without bending the other components if its hit hard, such as a pot hole or coming down from a wheelie etc.

thia!! x2 keep on keepin on!

Got it back together and on the ground but that's all the farther i made it, hopefully make some progress this weekend.

Did you make attach points for the strut rods? Didn't see them in the pics.

Not yet, i had something set up but then wasn't sure how much vertical movement the arm was actually going to have. That's why i put the car all back together so i can see how much the strut rod really needs to move vertically.

Tried working on the strut bars today but my water cooler on my Tig welder died, not sure when I'll get this project done now.....

looking good. I'm curious to see how the end product works and if you are happy with them.

really interested in will be following along if and when you start selling them Ill be one of the first to place an order. mad fab skills by the way
