Need exhaust help

I run 2.5" with 40 series Flowmaster's which is a real nice sound. Its reasonably quiet until you get on it, then it changes to a loud raspy thrush noise that will wake the dead. When I want to open up some power I just hit the switch to open up the 2.5" cutouts
