Small Block Full Length Header Options - Ground Clearance
You're hilarious.
There is exactly 4" between the bottom of the header flange and the ground on my car. My frame rails are barely 7" off the ground.
So, unless you routed your exhaust through your floor pan, you're either measuring to somewhere other than the part of the flange that sits lowest to the ground, or your car sits higher. A LOT higher.
This picture was taken to show my subframe connector, but if you look in the lower left corner it also does a pretty decent job of showing that the header flange can't go any higher without notching the crossmember for the exhaust.
