We will be there with our 3 cars...our 1977 Class C motorhome with original paint...and 94 Dodge 2500 with 318k miles...with the paint pealing off...no extra cost from the factory for that option....and probably a 1999 Dodge 1500...with the clear coat starting to fake off too...again...from the factory at no extra cost.....

all rare parts will be home in shed...

and best of all...only 5 miles from track

all sarcasm aside, Are you bringing any of your A-body race cars you have listed there?
One of the cars we are bringing is a numbers matching mostly all original 1970 T/A 340+6 4spd dana Challenger but not racing that one it's the only E-body car we have at the moment.

Hey everyone, I'm going to MATS for the first time and am thinking about taking my dart. Any recommendations on safe hotels close to all of the fun and events?

I will be there with my drag car.....hope to have sopme extra cash saved up to hit the swap meet......sold parts out of the back of the race car trailer last year.LOL

This sounds great, I think the misses has been wanting to go to Vegas, it's been awhile. My wedding anniversary is Mar 28th, maybe I can make this work!

We will be there! One of the shows we try not to miss every year:coffee2:

Dave,

I'm trying to go on the cheap, with lodging at Nellis AFB, still working on the war department/financial advisor ha!

The new matslv.com website is finally up and operational. You can get on and download registration forms for either the car show or the drag racing.
Check it out.

Happy Anniversary on March 28 !! Thats my Bday , so will sepend it in Vegas. Just payed for all the tickets this morning.
Andrew/Kidd

As usual I will be there about a month after. I think the solution is to move there.

I may be only able to go on Saturday due to flight times. There is no schedule that I can find on the website, when does the racing start? I plan on checking out the swap meet also. Can anyone that's been tell me how it kinda goes?

Racing generally starts around 9am on Friday morning....any run schedule as in the order of what cars or brackets run ....they post is usually wrong....LOL....

I'm also curious as to where the safest place to stay is that's close to the track. Safe for the car that is ;)

If you drive your car on the streets there, no place is safe.

My car is safer in my hands, than when it's not...

I want to know where the safest place to leave the car is when I am not with it, and when it's not on the street ;)

If there have been problems for folks in the past I would like to hear it.

Safest place for your car is to leave it at the track in the pits. Many racers spend the night...park near one of them :)

Wonder if a person could find a place near say a U-Haul storage place and lock a car in it over nite. One buck for first month. Use it for two nites and book. Probably some long term contract involved. IDK

^^ This

A friend of mine usually has 4-5 cars there and leaves them overnight next to his haulers. His son or a friend will spend the night in one of the sleeping cabins. He's never had a problem.

Went to buy plane tickets, this fee, that fee. Mrs. and I decided too much $$$ damn it looked like a good time though. Maybe next year and we'll be there for all 3 days.
