a local store and use the coupon code. If you have a store close by. I did it today. I know a lot of guys on here
gave this little welder a great review, as well as great online reviews. Maybe somebody out there needs one.
Good Luck.

I'll have to see if there is one near me. I'm looking for a gas welder for sheet metal work. Any clue how small of wire you can use? It needs to be 0.20- 0.25.

Yes your right if you use steel core vs flux core. And that niffy chart is on the door of the the Welder.

That Hobart 140 is a good welder. I bought mine at Christmas time at Tractor supply, it was on sale. I like it better than the Lincoln I had.

I have one and it works great. Follow the chart on the door for thickness and your good to go.

generally the .023 wire is for thin sheetmetal. you will have to use gas for that small wire, NO flux wire that small I know of. so therefore, you will have to buy the gas bottle. be sure the welder is set up to take gas. I have a 10 yr old hobart handler like that one. NEVER has feed wire and welded worth squat. surely I just have a lemon, or they would not still be s elling them, or maybe fixed some problem mine has.
a local body shop has a old one like mine. he had problems with his until he run the polarity backwards, tried that with mine, no difference.
I would buy a different welder, and quit fighting mine, but can't justify buying another welder , I can't sell mine to anyone with a clear conscience!!!!!
I had a small lincoiln like the Hobart years back and it welded fine.

That's what I have, same as a Miller. Great little welder. Mine came with all the goodies, took me thirty minutes to get buzzing.
