What is your current gear ratio?
You'll need a Hi-stall converter to get it all to work best.
Or use Rhodes lifters to take away approx. 10*'s duration to drop the low end operating rpm band. This would allow the use of the stock converter with less than optimal gears. Custom length pushrods to depress the lifter a smidge more than .010 would be great for maximum use of the variable lifter.
