A Body 8 1/4 rear

Before you spend any more money on that 8.25 rear, did it come with any gear in? If so what ratio is it if not post on the housing numbers on it.

One thing you might wanna look at is the rear disc brake setup off a 96 or so Jeep grand Cherokee. They are pretty much a bolt on deal to the 8.25 rear.

You can also score a sure grip and gears from them. You can also get the rotors drilled with both patterns. I just did the disks and they were easy. I did a thread. Dana 35 is what you want.
, buy the whole rear, craigslist usually has guys parting out the Cherokees.
