My first Classic Car, 75 Dart Swinger
Figured id share a few more pictures. Had to have a baseline for the engine before the cleanup starts.
Got a little close up picture of the Mach 500 wheels too.
Got a lot of maintenance goodies the last few days so I could do a nice tune up and even a dress up piece or two. Trying to decide on gear oil in the rear end and what Dexron Fluid for the trans right now to round up the maintenance side of things. Suggestions are appreciated. Also got some cleanup gear in order to get her ready for the road/show season.
Obviously its a weekend/cruiser car and not a racer. Don't want to start driving her around this summer not knowing when the last tune-up was done. Id rather have that extra piece of mind by doing the maintenance myself then relying on anyone prior. Even though everything else on the car looks great. I'm only the 4th owner of the car in 40 years, and came with a binder of paperwork going back to 1975. Also the Purolator air filter means the stock air cleaner will be cleaned up and reinstalled.
