Need some prayers for my wife

Sorry to see this Stan. Strokes are an absolutely evil thing. My dad had five of them. She will be in my thoughts....

Update, they have done a MRI on Jean but we haven't heard the results yet.
She will be in the hospital at least through the week end. She has full mobility on her left side but has no feeling in either her left leg or arm. Her problems are caused by a brain bleed brought on by high blood pressure.

They have here BP down now and believe the bleeding will mend on it's own.
She will need physical therapy for awhile. Biggest set back is that she has lost about 75% of the vision in her left eye and the doctor thinks that will not come back.

Jean is in good spirits and is looking forward to getting to come home.
 
Stan, Prayers are on their way for your wife Jean. Make sure she listens to the Docs & try to keep her spirits up!! Stroke recovery can be a slow process & take time to heal....:angel10:
 
My dad had the same type stroke a few years back. I know what y'all are going through. I will pray for you and Mrs Jean. There definetly is power in prayer.
 
Thank You for the update on Jean! I hope when the bleeding clears she is back to her same old self with all her sight!

Yeah, seems like they check your oil every time they think you fall asleep!
 
Hopefully she can pull through this. I have a friend who has had two strokes, and has come through pretty well. But they can be devastating if bad....
 
Prayers sent to you and your family. Had a stroke last year. Its important work hard at all the therapy and to rest well.
 
we pray therepy and time will pull her thru completely. my gf had a stoke few years back and pretty well is 100 %. we will hope for the best.
 
Good morning Stan, Treva and I will keep Jean in our daily prayers, Mine was on the right eye and have been on blood pressure mends and thinners, Tell Jean to stay strong and looking forward to seeing the doctors let her go home soon.
You keep an eye on your stress level and her's and may love and prayers see things get better bud, Mike and Treva.
