if your going to do it yourself, then remember to get a lye solution or lye solution based cleaner (like original yellow top "easy off oven cleaner) to remove the anodizing from the aluminum trim before sanding on it and polishing it up. Member "Waggin" on here did a nice write-up on how to stainless also most of that can be transffered to the aluminum trim, just remember aluminum is super thin and it's easy to over do it. I did mine and it took a bumch of hours but did come out nice.
