Need Help on Dial Indicator Setup to buy

I have the kit from Trick Flow. Seems to work fine. There are others that work well too.

I take one of the lifters I intend to run with the cam and gut it (save guts for reassemble later) and stack washers in until I get push rod cup up close to the top. Typically I degree the cam and do a push rod length measure around the same time so a mock up lifter is handy.
