I upgraded my 68 B'cuda to 73 Duster disc brakes. I came across a really good deal on some reman calipers supposedly for a 78 Cordoba. Everything fit together with no problem, until now. I was mounting a set of 14" Magnum 500's and the caliper outside corners hit the rim. Any body know if there is a difference in the a-body calipers that would allow for this rim?

You're going to need the 73 calipers for the 73 eleven-inch rotors. I think because the Cordoba rotor would be 11.75", it would require a thicker caliper.

A 14" wheel will fit over the matched 73 disc brake parts.

YB may have straightened you out there.

I can only say my 74 has disc up front and had 14 inch wheels that fit with no issues.

Not exactly the same, but I tried putting the spare tire on my 2002 T&C after an interstate blow-out and the front caliper was tight against the spare and wouldn't rotate. I gave up (2 a.m.) and called for our free tow. The guy who answered said same deal with his new truck. The spare only fits the rears. So, I spent another 30 min moving tires (one jack) until I got it on the rear and drove home. I later took a grinder to the caliper edges until the spare fit. We bought used so perhaps not the correct spare. Many new cars now come without a spare.
