This may be a repost but see if you can get through this video without giggling just a little

sounds like a 4500 stall convertor too. Smoke the tires on a pickup/ute? Not that hard.

Looks like an Aussie machine. Those guys are all about burning rubber and that's about it.

So wrong....they are very much into going fast

This car isn't built for any of that. That car is strictly for Burnouts.

I'd have to disagree there. The car obviously makes a lot of power and could probably make it down the track in a hurry with a set of slicks on it. With those tires he was running in the video, it's not going anywhere. He's got those on for burnouts no doubt. But I disagree that the car itself is strictly built for burnouts. Put a hard compound tire under any car with power and it's going to break the tires loose pretty easily. That's why I think he was running those instead of a good street tire that will grab. Easier to break them loose and burn them off :burnout:

Right, but I disagree with your assertion that the Aussies are only interested in burning rubber.

Burning rubber seems to be one of their more popular hobbies. Much more so then in America. I understand some can go fast I was just pointing out that burn out machines are super popular there. I always see videos with these huge blower cars just doing Burnouts.

Lean surge caused by the blower. Sounds and looks good. Love the Utes. tmm

I think they're on to something down there. Seriously, why don't we do this? [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Q9HLh5RYyA"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Q9HLh5RYyA[/ame]

Those burnout contest are so much better then the power brakes you see at all the shows around here. For me though, if I am going to spend that type of money on that kind of power the tires wouldn't be spinning.

Burnout comps are popular here, however...trust me we make some damn quick drag/race cars. For a country with a small population we hold many world records for drag classes. Not to mention our enthusiasm for motor racing of all types. There's more Mopars going around corners here than anywhere on the planet.
