I guess you can call me Mr. Mom now

Out of the blue, MommaCat got a job offer last week. A neighbor of ours works for an HVAC company that his sister owns. Their office manager got a little flaky and pretty much stopped coming in to work, so they offered Angie the job, contingent on her passing a phone interview with the owner (our neighbor's sister) and the company accountant. Not surprising, she passed with flying colors and actually started work today.
This really couldn't have come at a better time as we just had our house deeded to us, so we have a few new bills we didn't have before. I'm still looking for work and going to school full time. Angie hasn't actually had a regular job in about ten years, ever since she was in a car accident while she was 7 months pregnant with our son. He'll be 10 in June.
She was really nervous before she left for work today. The previous office manager made a real mess of things before she stopped coming in, so Angie really has her work cut out for her. I've talked to her since, though, and it sounds like she is digging in and making that position her own. If I know my wife, (and I do!), that office won't know what hit it and it won't be long till she has everything exactly where it should be and that office will be purring like Fabo, the 340 Demon Kitty!

I guess this is what I have to look forward to...
