I bought a 66 step side last summer. Decided to go with the lil red express theme. It is a older fix up that needs freshened up. The guy I bought from said he had for one year. Hechad a list of things he replaced/ fixed to getvon the road. I have now pretty much replaced everything he did...
Hope I can figure out how to upload pics...
 
yep the little reds are really cool. I think an older little red would be neat.

You can actually make them out of any step side.

Has a 383 from a 69 charger. This is someone else's project that got left by the wayside. I am reviving to a decent looking driver. Not a full blown restoration. Had a lot of hack work to straighten out. Wiring mostly done. Tranny rebuilt. 727. Engine has mild cam, has some lope.

Don't make it a LRE it is a pie plate grill truck.
Those steps on the bed are very hard to find original, sorry somebody cut a hole in them.
Truck looks solid.
 
Make it what you want. I wish I had a plum crazy express, oh wait, I'm building a Big red Express!
