I never felt like I was a vet so I never talk about it and then recently I looked into the VA and found out I don't qualify as I was early outed by 5 days so I am not a true Vet. But I support Wounded Warrior and any Legit Veterans cause. Vets today are true Hero's. Thank you to all that serve.
Hi Joe, I just saw this. I may not be an authority on this subject, but I have some experience with what you were told by the VA. Try and find your nearest VFW and tell someone there about what the VA said...If you were honorably discharged and you signed no waivers, you are (should) be eligible. Your are a VET!
