Not this **** again...

The dumbass ran down into lanes of an active track and was grabbing at, and actually grabbed, the wing of a moving car. The kid had a history of being a hotheaded a-hiole, guess that only fits when it's TS?

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Exactly.

Oh yea, I agree 1000% percent, the guy was asking for it, he was clearly more wrong than TS, but he also was messing with the wrong guy. That situation was going nowhere good. I did forget he grabbed at the car, like what, he's going to stop a 600HP race car at 3/4 speed?? He was already dead. (No disrespect)

X2^^^^^ I was sitting at Knoxville Ia watching the sprint car nats when this happened. You should have heard the BS flying around when word hit the stands about Tony "running a guy down". It's amazing how people will come to their "own" conclusions so quickly "without" knowing a damn thing about what really happened. I too do not care for Bush, but what is going to happen to people when business's start doing to people what NASUCK and others have done "without" knowing the truth about people.

Hay buddy, my daily is a 75 F250 Camper Special.

My point is, that anyone gaga over NASCAR or the NHRA needs to read up on history. Sure, nothing wrong with bein a race fan, but those two entities have been Mopar's enemy from day one.

Is it O.K. with you that my daily driver is a Ford? But I love old MOPARs too?

Your argument is ridiculous.

Besides, MOPAR put themselves out of NASCAR. They were making stupid demands upon any team that wanted to run their stuff.

Question No. 1: Why did Penske Racing in March 2012 announce that it was dumping Dodge and moving to Ford for 2013?

Answer: Because while Penske was prepared to re-sign with Dodge, the manufacturer screwed around with the approval process long enough for Ford to step in with an offer Roger Penske couldn't refuse.

Question No. 2: Then why didn't Dodge just sign up another team?

Answer: It tried. It looked and looked but just couldn't find anyone who deserved a $30 million check, the amount at stake according to at least one source.

And I was speaking of the past, when BOTH sanctioning bodies sanctioned Mopar OUT of racing. Maybe you're too young to remember that, I am not. Mopar did nothing then to take themselves out.

Far as I'm concerned from 2001 on, there has been no NASCAR. It's all a bunch of glorified bullshit o make money.

Been a NASCAR fan for well over 50 years. Never paid too much attention to the manufacturers, was a R. Petty fan no matter if he drove Dodges, Plymouths, Fords, Pontiacs, or whatever. Same for my next favorite driver Geoff Bodine, who started out in Chevys and wound up in Fords. Doesn't matter to me what they are driving, really. Just like the racing for the racing, and the personalities involved. Was it better "backinnaday"" before the big money arrived? Yes in many ways. But change happens, so what can you do? Love the racing now. It would be better if we had more makes of cars involved. It just adds more interest. But not having Dodge or Fiat(?) involved ain't the end of the world.

seems like we all had a similar discussion a while back.

Nascar has NOTHING to do with the auto manu. for the fan,,,, its ALL about the personality of that car and the desire to watch them "race".

the only reason a auto manu. EVER got involved with any form of racing and anything else,, was to sell cars! they don't give a shi- about anything else! just bottom line.

yes, I agree with RRR. history doesn't lie.

It's not that I don't like Busch. I don't give a ****. I don't like NASCAR. If yall like Mopars and you like NASCAR, you're dumber than I thought. NASCAR is the number 1 sanctioning body right in front of the NHRA that kept Mopar from being on top so much. Yall go on slobberin NASCAR'S knob. Not this white boy. Bill France and Wally Parks had it out for anybody but Chevy. If yall like that, then yall ain't real Mopar fans. Nuff said.

LMFAO..well i guess i'm not a "real" Mopar guy all my daily drivers are FORDS when Mopar/fiat makes something worth my hard earned money i might buy it but they haven't in FORTY plus years..so i guess i'll just keep trailering my duster(which Mopar made, back when they made "real" cars) with my non-mopar truck to the track and keep kicking *** on brand-x and other mopars but i'll have to tell them i'm not a "real" mopar according to you..lmfao:D:D

The only reason anyone of us knows about Stewart to Busch is mainly Social media. When something happens everyone jumps on a band wagon and lights their torches because everyone else is making a big deal out of some famous persons downfall.

If it was Joe that worked in a button factory in Bumhole Iowa. Nobody would care and it would not be news.

Money seems to pay their way out of trouble. I am sure someone had more lawyers then the other person, but if it was an average Joe he would be preparing for his fun in the showers with all the other boys.
