A buddy of mine takes stock kelsey hayes 15x6.5 mopar steelie centers, and cuts the hoops (bands) off, and takes 15x8 chevy suburban kelsey hayes rallye wheels, and cuts out the center (web) installs the mopar center to the suburban hoop. Makes his own widened steelies.
2 different american manufacturers were making steel wheels in this time frame. Budd, and Kelsey Hayes. FYI The webs and hoops are NOT interchangable between each of these manufacturers.
