Dumping the exhaust behind the rear axle?

Thanks for all the replies guys, I am still undecided with how I want them ran. We don't have to pass emissions in Indiana, and I don't have any kids I'm worried about riding in the back seats.

We do have a lot of cruise ins in gravel parking lots and in fields, so dust may be an issue, however I might be able to get away with changing the angle of the outlet.

T/A style may be the way to go. I'll keep you guys updated

A big factor to consider is where and how much you will drive the car. I drive my Barracuda a lot!! 3 or 4 times a weeks, in the city, 15-30 each time. I had some fumes coming into the car and it drove me crazy until I found the reasons. Every one that rode with me would always complain. There were many reasons for the fumes but my point is....if you plan to drive your car (especially with other people in the car) you don't want any exhaust fumes in there. I solved my exhaust fume problem, FYI - my exhaust exits at my rear bumpers.
If you're going to sit in traffic you'll eventually going to get a headache from fumes.
