Banging that sucker out :-). Just fired up my 440 with the same head and valve train combo today. Sounds great with the Howard's cam too. I just hope you disassembled and went through those heads really well! I won't burden you with the details but if you check out my thread you would be shocked at what came out of my heads when I cleaned them up. Valve guides were not sized right, no lube when assembled at factory, the list goes on. Just looking out for you brother. Any ideas on the color yet?

I really do appreciate you lookin out! I had the machine shop completely disassemble the heads and they put in much better valve guides and double checked everything. I cant wait to fire up this motor!!! its been completely built and sitting in my garage for about 3 months now. I decided right after I built the motor to take on all the body work first and re paint it before putting the motor in. It was so tempting to put it in but Im glad I went this route instead! I am torn between these two colors.
