And you may not have to rotate it very far. If you position the flexplate so that there is one hole on either side of the oilpan, you can roll the TC around to each of the 4 positions. This will get you the oddly placed position on the TC.Then if its the same as where the crank is,youre good to go. If its not, just rotate the crank to the next split position, again looking for the match. Yeah, you might still have to reposition the crank 3 times. But at least youll recognize the correct position without ever screwing a bolt in.If you dont understand my ramble let me know and Ill post an example.
