A-body Hemi box 4 speed

I strongly disagree with the assumption that this trans was swapped.

If it were aluminum , or, if have later tail-shaft, most likely it swapped. However, this trans have cast iron tail-shaft and the casting # 98126 matching the trans build date. I pretty sure this trans is Mopar factory assembly.

Factory built hemi superstock cars were not built with a synchronized transmissions IIRC. Its pretty dang simple to swap the output shaft and extension housing to the a body pieces, and its EXACTLY how people put together a 18 spline box back in the day. Like I said before, its still a killer transmission worth some $$$$
