I have a 26" 3 row Champion radiator & factory 26" shroud cooling the 512 stroker in my Roadrunner. Still has the 22" opening. Car runs cool as a cucumber, in all conditions.
Don't know on the fit up for an A-Body, but in a B-Body you need to use the factory mount holes on the driver side, and then drill the holes on the passenger.
