Im going again this year! Not driving the white and black 73 Duster anymore b/c I sold it. I will be in a B-Body 72 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus most likey in the show area. Been working on it since I sold the Duster and this is its maiden voyage at a car show. Still not all the way done but close enough. Bringing my wife with me to this one. Stop by and say hello!

I will just show up for a few hours. neighbor's funeral at 2;30. 1 hr back home... yesterday I tore my shoulder, one armed for at least a month. I look forward to the sites!!!

Looks like a 4 hr drive for us. Were leaving around six in the morning. Got the truck loaded and ready to go. I'll be in the red dodge 1500 with a topper selling a few parts in the swap meet. Hope its a good day for everyone!

DANG!! You won't believe this but I tore my left rotator cup yesterday too! I was pushing my son's 95 Jeep onto the trailer when I slipped and fell in the rain. My arms were extended when I fell and I was in extreme pain before I hit the ground. I know I won't be making the trip to Mo-Kan now.#-o

Mikesin,
I have big ball joint uppers, new ball joints and the moog off set bushings. I'll throw them in the back of my Copper colored CRV. Have not listed them on here was waiting till I cleaned them up.
CudaDust

Is anyone gonna have a meet and greet? I do not have any FABO T-Shirts or hats yet until I get the new one. Will probably be around Todd since I am am gonna meet up with him.

I'm up and packing the cooler right now! I'll be in the silver Ford Escape on the first page, come on by if you see the hatch open. We usually walk around for a while then head back to the truck for refreshments.

Would love to be there but went to pick up my motor instead.

Love the wheels on the Sebring, and the color combo too.

Just saw over at .org the slant took the Hellcat - they are clamoring for a video!!!

I was standing at the start line right by the rail and was able to catch the whole thing on video. I'll put it on YouTube when I get back to the house in 20 mins or so!

Here it is! What do you guys think?

11.08 @ 119 mph for the the Lancer with the slant and 11.85 @ 125 mph for the Hellcat!

The slant went 11.08 @ 119 mph and the Hellcat went 11.85 @ 125 mph

There was a decent turnout this year. Lots of cool cars! One of my favorites was a turbo slant Dart convertible. It wasn't super fast but it was really unique and had an old refrigerator door for a hood scoop.

Thanks for the info!

I CANNOT IMAGINE what you would have to do to a Hellcat to make it run AS
SLOW as 11.85; how many sparkplug wires did he disconnect?

On the other hand, that little slant six was haulin' the mail...... that is an amazingly fast naturally-aspirated car... just amazing!

I had my car all finished (FINALLY!) and was ready to load it on the trailer for its first-ever trip down the drag strip, and was looking forward to putting $75.00 of Mo Kan's money in my pocket just for showing up on the starting line with a turbo'd slant six, and maybe another $100.00 for the "long-distance" award (257 miles to Conway from the strip) and when my '93 Dakota 2wd truck (for towing the trailer) encountered wheelspin on the apparently, DRY GRASS in my side-yard, on level ground, it became patently clear that my trailer would not be going anywhere, last night... my backyard (where I keep my trailer,) was normal-looking enough, but when you stepped on it, it went "SQUISH" and was virtually, a disguised swamp. I tried for 2 hours to get that trailer out of there (IT IS VIRTUALLY LEVEL!) To no avail...

Dug deep ruts with wheelspin... in frustration. See pix... but, pay no attention to the dates on the pictures; that date/time setting is screwed up and I can't figure out how to set it.... it was all last night.

So, after FIVE YEARS of preparation, and having my race car ready for its maiden voyage (and having the potential of collecting some cash from Mo Kan,) I felt like crying... I didn't, but, I felt like it!!!

It's just been raining, and raining, and raining, here... but, you can't see it; it's all still, just below the surface.

I'd like to thank the management at MO Kan Dragway for their effort to attract slant six cars; I was very impressed with the incentives you offered, and this won't happen to me again, I assure you.

Thanks for all that you do!!

It was a great day, even got sun burnt. Didn't sell much at the swap meet but talked with several fellas about their projects. Picked up a radiator and dust shield for the daughters car.

I would like to go back for the h.a.m.b drags, I talked with a local that said it was a must see, I had seen some you tube videos on it. Nine hours of driving for us but I'm sure it would be worth it to see them put on their show.

if I remember right, the slant car ran 10.9 last year. amazing race!!! kudos for the hellcat guy to do the race!!!

this mo kan mopar day, could be a really big swap, show , and race, if all the mopars folks within 200 mi radius attended.... I know firsthand, lots of life can get in our way!!!

April 11th only two months away! You guys better get to wrenching! Hoping for good weather. Im tired of the cold im ready for some racing!

Look like you made several passes Hope you enjoyed it, 12.10? That's a clean old dodge pickup!

The Hellcat was running street tires and seemed to be having some traction problems. Knew the slant was going to take em though.

Thank you. I thought it was a good turnout. Nothing better than a bunch of Mopars drag racing!

what if they were both bone stock? what if the things done to the old slant 6, were done to the hellcat? comparing apples to monkeys !
