My forward engine harness is pretty rough, multiple splices, dried out wires broken connectors etc etc.
So I'm wondering if anyone makes a replacement plug and play harness or if I can send mine to be rebuilt to factory specs. Thanks, did a search and didn't find anything. I checked year one and classic industries, but I'm curious to know the reviews on some of their harnesses

What kind of car? The year one stuff is excellent. Made by a company in il M&M maybe.

Get on year ones email list. They do discounts now and then. I bought and under dash for my 71 Demon and it saved me 130$. M&H makes their harnesses. The quality to me looks good. Haven't installed it yet. Also Evans wiring does the engine harnesses and will configure it for electronic if you need. Good people to deal with.

Another vote for Bill Evans, he will make what ever harness you want! I had him make me a 1967 Cuda harness with electronic ignition and the grey/black tach wire....no problemo!!! Geof

And to think I rebuilt my own! could have saved a lot of time!

If you are comfortable with the provisions of a 67 engine harness....
Many if not most of us opt for a more modern charging system and electronic ignition of some sort. These are 2 of the circuits that would need modified.

At some point this car was converted to electronic ignition, but still has the old charging system which I'd probably upgrade, I'd have to find the "how to thread". I think the change is to a single wire gm style alternator.

GM ? Well whatever you like. Just know that any and all electronic ignition systems require a minimum of 12 volt supply. Some will function with lower supply ( very poorly ) and I'll assume yours did. You're on the right path now though. Cheers
