We re-did this garage a year or so ago so I could build my dart in it but over the course of cutting, welding, grinding and fluids going everywhere and dirt and grime the garage has become a mess again. My dart is now coming back from the body shop to have all the clean work done so now the garage is going to be re done. Starting right after this weekend because my mom insisted on having a garage sale.

My dad really doesn't care but he said he'll help out just Im paying for it..

We originally just had one tool box but then I ended up buying one for myself and tools.


Plans are.

-Redo the floor and fill cracks

-stain the steps and railings

-remove the sand blaster and parts washer as I do not need them anymore

-New one big toolbox

-New storage cabinet

-New work bench top



and we will be putting the jack stands on the pads and doing everything demonstrated in the first picture but actually continuing to do it.
 
Just bought this New husky tool box from Home depot to replace our two old boxes

yea ....its amazing how a garage can become a catch all for everything and anything and turn into a mess.......I have had the same problem here.

I need to paint my garage floor too.

anyone got suggestions on garage floor paint? cheapest and the best for the $$$ ?
 
Cole,

My Gold Duster is supposed to be ready for me by mid-June.... Can you come down to Raleigh and redo my garage. Insurance company says I need to keep it garaged.... :) Nowhere to put it right now.

Haha funny you say that, my uncle lives in Raleigh. Have any pics of this duster?

yes it can...try a 40 foot by 80 ft by 18 ft tall tractor shed on an active farm....I can't keep dirt/dust/grime/ trash/ left over crap from being in it.

I was just out to see her this afternoon, but I did not shoot any pictures. She is in final straightening now. Engine compartment, hood, deck lid, doors painted and in final sanding and buff. About 40% sheet metal replacement. Retirement gift to myself. :-(

She is supposed to rejoin her rebuilt /6 next week sometime.

Btw,,,, at least the fender support brace from you will be a part of it. Went with a second set of bumper brackets I found in Arizona. So you will have some metal in her when she is done.

I will send photos when she is done to all a-bodies-only folks who supplied parts.

my rule of thumb is : garage ( car shed), is for cars, tools, parts....... the free range chickens visit but I like my eggs so I put up with chicken poop! LOL

the shed attached to the horse barn holds the mower, extra car parts , welding table...... the horse barn is for horses, tack, feed.......anything else anywhere is crap..... not allowed.... except spare room in the house. it is the keeper of all other crap! ( I personally own NO crap!?) LOL
