Cancel ring on after market steering wheel

I need to replace my factory steering wheel on a 66 dart. Since the cancel ring attaches to the stock wheel, how does the turn signal cancel work with a aftermarket wheel?

Do you know how it cancels the turn signal?

Is it part of the horn/adapter kit?
 
My wheel came with an install kit that had a new cancel/horn ring and wheel hub, but most of the wheels have install kit's available for an extra cost.

Point is that kits are out there if you end up needing one.
