Will it fit?

Just purchased my first 67 barracuda project. missing front windshield. I located a windshield but it's from a 68 barracuda. Are they interchangeable?

Yes indeed. I think they are the same as 67-76 Dart Swingers.

The glass is the same but the gasket is different from 67 to 68

...you may have trouble sourcing a 1967 (one year only) gasket. They have been in and out of production in recent years. You can use the 1968-69 gasket, but it will not take the plastic "chrome" lockstrip which serves for trim on the 67. You can use the 68-69 stainless trim (which would be superior in every respect), but the problem is you have to find it, and the additional complication is that you would need to drill the 22 holes around the circumference for the 22 clips that hold the stainless trim -- this must be done with the glass and the gasket out of the car. The clips are available from Layson and others.

This may help -- the following windshield glass and stainless trim is interchangeable:
68-69 Barracuda fastback and coupe (not convertible)
68-76 Dart/Swinger 2dr hardtop (not sedans or Dart Sports)
68-76 Valiant/Scamp 2dr hardtop (not sedans)
Not Duster
Not Demon

Thanks guys for the info. It seems this cuda is going to be a big challenge for me unlike my duster.
